Cholecystectomy Base Plate with Training Gallbladder

A universal base for securing training gallbladders in a laparoscopic box trainer.

Attaches to the flat surface of the trainer with 4 suction cups.

Consumable elements are secured with a hook-and-loop fastener.

• Visualization of Calot's triangle and its structures;
• Isolating the structures at the gallbladder neck, including dissection of the cystic duct and cystic artery;
• Clipping the cystic duct and cystic artery (3 clips per structure);
• Dividing the cystic duct and cystic artery;
• Retrograde or antegrade separation of the gallbladder from its bed (gallbladder mobilization);
• Lavage of the subhepatic space; grasping and retrieving the gallbladder;
• Using a dedicated extraction bag to retrieve the gallbladder.
