E.N.D.O. Sphere Benchtop Laparoscopic Training System

Designed for practicing laparoscopic skills.

A distinctive design feature is the vertically adjustable camera mount, which allows visualization of both the lower and upper areas of the trainer.

This feature makes it possible to work not only with training models placed in the lower part of the trainer, but also with a simulated anterior abdominal wall for practicing IPOM repair.

• Laparoscopic instrument handling technique;
• Moving various objects in space using instruments;
• Working with laparoscopic instruments using both hands;
• Performing clipping and electrocoagulation;
• Performing safe traction and dissection of organs and tissues, cutting tissue with scissors;
• Positioning the needle in the needle holder;
• Manipulating the needle in tissue;
• Forming surgical sutures and knots using various techniques;
• Placing intracorporeal sutures;
• Independently performing various types of surgical interventions;
• Selecting the instruments required and preferred for each specific clinical case;
• Performing a wide range of surgical interventions, including on the anterior abdominal wall: laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, sigmoid colon resection, gastric bypass, repair of ventral incisional hernias, IPOM repair, TAPP.

Computer with software — designed to transmit a high-resolution video signal from the camera to the trainee's monitor.

This device also controls the video camera's focus and exposure settings and features a built-in stopwatch.
