The trainer is designed for practicing ultrasound-guided catheterization of the femoral vessels. These skills are relevant for endovascular surgeons, as well as for training in ECMO cannulation and dialysis catheter placement.

Suitable for use in accreditation examinations.

Skills trained:

• Visualizing the vessels in longitudinal or transverse ultrasound view;
• Identifying arteries by their pulsation on the ultrasound image;
• Placing the required catheters.
