MINI Suture Training Pad

MINI suture training pad (14 x 7 cm).

A consumable for practicing suture placement in open and laparoscopic surgery. It allows suture quality to be checked — if a sawing effect occurs while tying knots or a knot is over-tightened, the tissue may tear through.

Skills Trained:

• Hand-eye coordination;
• Correct handling of instruments for general and laparoscopic surgery;
• Positioning the needle in the needle holder;
• Manipulating the needle in tissue, suturing, and tying surgical knots both by hand and with instruments;
• Placing interrupted and continuous sutures along convenient and difficult trajectories;
• Placing intracorporeal sutures;
• Working with laparoscopic instruments using both hands;
• The realistic tissue model is an elastic pad that simulates biological tissue;
• Recommended for use with the E.N.D.O. LAPARO M and E.N.D.O. Sphere trainers.
