A swab collection trainer for teaching physicians and nursing staff the technique of taking swabs from the oral and nasal cavities to detect various respiratory infections. The trainer has openings representing the nasal and oral cavities, designed for clear demonstration of the specimen collection procedure.

The model represents a head in midline sagittal section with visualization of the anatomical structures of the oropharynx, as well as a movable tongue that can be retracted with a surgical spatula.

Skills trained:
