Pediatric Abdominal Palpation Trainer

Pediatric palpation training for abdominal masses and organ enlargement

The Pediatric Abdominal Palpation Trainer is a full-size torso representing a child aged 5–7. It is designed for hands-on examination of organ enlargement, cysts, and solid abdominal or pelvic masses without a VR headset, computer, or XR software.

  • Realistic pediatric anatomical landmarks help learners establish a consistent examination sequence.
  • Lifelike elastic skin supports superficial and deep palpation technique.
  • Removable skin and magnet-based inserts allow educators to change findings quickly.
  • Interchangeable inserts teach the location, size, contour, and relationship of palpable findings.

Focused scope for reliable physical simulation

This standalone trainer reproduces structural findings that can be identified by palpation. Acute conditions that depend on pain, guarding, facial expression, patient position, history, or dynamic response are intentionally reserved for XR-Body Pediatric.

The trainer does not simulate appendicitis, peritonitis, renal colic, intestinal obstruction, acute urinary retention, adnexal torsion, or other acute-abdomen responses as complete clinical scenarios.
