Simulated Vessel Set
A set of simulated vessels for practicing general surgery and vascular surgery skills, containing 5 pieces. Outer diameter — 1 mm, wall thickness — 0.2 mm, vessel length — 20 cm.
Skills trained:
- Working with microsurgical instruments;
- Simulating vessel injuries and repeatedly practicing the surgical interventions used to repair them;
- Can be connected to a blood flow simulation system;
- Ligation of the vessel at a distance;
- Incision of the vessel wall;
- Practicing standard vascular suture techniques (classic Carrel circular suture; lateral arterial suture) on simulated small-caliber vessels (1 mm);
- Creating watertight end-to-end and end-to-side vascular anastomoses;
- Observing the requirements for a vascular suture:
- the vessels being sutured must be approximated using the natural elasticity and stretch of their walls; overstretching is unacceptable;
- along the suture line, the vessels must meet with like layers in contact;
- the vascular suture must not alter the vessel lumen or deform the vessel;
- the suture must be watertight.
Package contents:
- Simulated vessel set — 5 pcs;
- Transport packaging.
