The simulated skin is a 17 × 17 cm skin pad. Various incisions can be made on the model for subsequent suturing practice. The pad allows practicing skills such as placing single interrupted and continuous sutures, performing intradermal sutures, approximating irregularly shaped incisions, and correct tissue dissection.
